A Family who has done of the hospitality and cookery art a real
passion from 1936.

In 1936 Pietro Cecchinato and his wife Margherita with their son Antonio decided to acquire an old inn called “Al Soco” in Grisignano di Zocco, mainly used as postal station. Postal station played an important role at that time as rest place for horses and carriers; soon became the inn “Al Soco” a strategic place to rest, refresh and socialise.

At that time Cecchinato’s Family started their activity and opened a small restaurant: grandmother Margherita, very fond of kitchen and tireless housewife spent most of her time in her house barn and prepared passionately Italian hand-made fresh pasta for their guests.

Thanks to love and passion for cooking of their son Antonio and to thousand visitors taking part at the yearly old traditional “Fiera del Soco”, a very famous regional village fair, the inn become soon a well-know meeting point in all the Venetian area.
Years elapsed and the Family grew: the son Antonio got married to Igina and had five sons: a male, Paolo, and four females.

Paolo married Zaira and together acquired and restored another old inn in Grisignano, including a bar, a restaurant, a pizzeria and place for up to 13 bedrooms.
On December 4th, 1988 they made their dream become true through the opening of their new “Magnolia Hotel”.

Nowadays the hotel is an affirmed and blooming reality, constantly supported by the assistance and presence of their three sons: Pierfabrizio, Paola and Elisa. In this ways it can boast a four generation family steady in service of hospitality to meet their guest requirements and a great customers satisfaction.
